About the Firm

The goal of Laribee Law, LLP is to provide its clients with the highest quality legal services expected from a large firm while avoiding the cost prohibitive nature of the "large law firm" approach to practice.

Laribee Law, LLP zealously represents individuals and businesses in the courts of Ohio including the courts of common pleas in Medina County and the surrounding counties of Summit, Cuyahoga, Lorain, Ashland, and Wayne, the municipal courts of Medina and Wadsworth.  Our attorneys also represent clients before governmental bodies, administrative agencies, arbitration panels and mediators in those jurisdictions.

Our clients range from corporations to sole proprietors, from single mothers to governmental entities, from real estate developers to non-profit boards, from closely held family retail businesses to national manufacturers. The attorneys at our firm can handle a wide variety of legal matters ranging from probate and estate planning matters to business transactions, litigation and real estate transactions. Laribee Law, LLP views each client’s case as an opportunity to build a trusted relationship and to provide excellent service.

Our Medina Heritage

With roots stemming back to 1898, Henry Laribee joined Arthur Van Epp in 1938 to form the law firm that is now known as Laribee Law, LLP. Prior to practicing law, Henry Laribee served as a high school principal and administrator in Homer and Spencer Townships, and Mr. Van Epp held the position of mayor of Medina. The firm was first located on Medina's public square and relocated to the historic "Ferris House" in 1968. Henry Laribee's sons, Ray and Richard, followed in their father's footsteps and joined the practice in 1967 and 1969 respectively. Michael Laribee joined the firm in 1996, representing the third generation of the Laribee family to practice law in Medina.
